We were there, too. The first half was pretty bleak; we were sitting right at the edge of the LSU section. Second half was much better & a lot of the GA fans bailed. We rode MARTA and I remember them keeping us out of the station until they cleared the majority of the GA fans from the platform.

At least Les got to play Jefferson at qb. The offense really took off, didn’t it?
I’ve never seen a guy who qb’d the first 8.5 games for a team that was undefeated get kicked to the back of the bench for such an average replacement.

Mathieu’s punt return where he broke 20 tackles and nearly scored again was the greatest non TD punt return of all time.

He is such an electric player. He made that team. Loved his fire and energy on special teams and defense. Too bad this team didn’t have much on offense

It really is mind blowing when you look at the success he had with how poorly his offenses were coached.
