Both teams undefeated and dominant in regular season. But I don't feel near as bad about 21-0 now. Not compared to what Alabama just endured for 60 minutes.

This was WAY worse. How embarrassing for Bama and the SEC.

They scored. Nothing is as embarrassing as putting up 0 vs your biggest rival

We didn’t even have 100 offensive yards against Bama. 01/09/12 was definitely more embarrassing.

It is but...i cannot help but feel Cathartic that after the domination Alabama have put up SINCE then, that they lost in such a fashion.

Our defense played their heart out at least. Bama's whole squad just rolled over tonight

This is a worse beat down. LSU had no game plan but that was actually a closer game, the only touchdown was scored late.

LSU was two scores down in the 4th and a play away from making it a game. This game was never in reach for Bama in the second half.

We had 92 total yards and 5 first downs. Couldn’t move the ball and had a very capable former starter/backup sitting there with his helmet off completely unused while out QB threw for 53 yards on 17 attempts with a 4.9 QBR. Although the score was technically closer, I still stand by 01/09/12 as being far more embarrassing.

However no play was even remotely close to being made. We never tried anything different. Just read options and 3 yard slants.

It was frustrating as a fan but LSU was still in that game. Clemson was playing around the whole 4th quarter.

Agree to disagree. We were never in that game with the offensive “game plan” implemented.

LSU beat Bama on the road already that season, and got blasted in New Orleans.

It's a bit different since didn't lose to a phenom QB either.

2011 is going to be worse, because Bama isn't going to lose the way LSU has to one team for the past 7 years.

1/9 wouldn’t be as bad if LSU had 5 national titles in 10 years before that game.

This did not feel like a Nick Saban coached team. bama's players and fans have been cocky and arrogant all season. Saying this team could beat the Buffalo Bills and compete in the NFL. But, something just didn't feel Sabanish. Why fake a FG when you need the points? I understand when the score has got a little out of hand, but in the first half they try a fake FG. Then the amount of times they go for it on 4th down instead of kicking the FG. Like I said, I understand why when they are so far behind, but not when those 3 points could make a little bit of a difference. Clemson was unpredictable on offense and mixed things up on defense. It isn't the Jimmy's and the Joe's as much as it is the x's and the o's. Sorry O, slinger, but ya'll's x's and o's just can't get the job done. Too predictable. I don't understand why LSU has never been able to build a team with a great offense. That was Cholly Mac's problem, no offense. LSU will always have a good defense, they need an OC who will be allowed to build a great offense.

Indeed, I had female coworkers who don’t even follow football kidding me about crossing the 50. We own the only shutout of the BCS/CFP championship era. Miles with his thumb up his arse. For all the talk of E’s two shutouts vs Bama, the 2011 Tigers averaged 3 points in regulation vs the Tide.
