2000 and 2009 were underachieving teams also..

2000 Houston sweeps at the Box
Those same fans complaining about National Championship teams were most likely complaining after this basketball team lost to FSU and then Ok State. Two days later after losing to Houston they said we were over rated and Wade sucked.. The truth is most of our ‘fans’ on this site are clueless about college sports. They are clueless about non conference, especially in sports that play more than 10 games a year. Ignore them and appreciate being wiser. They will be on the baseball bandwagon come June just like they are on the basketball wagon right now.

I blame Les for giving LSU fans high expectations...for all sports
