Talk about identify issues and creative branding. Originally SLII, then became USL. Went from USL to ULL, then to UL. Now I see it’s just L.

Just because you put it on a shirt doesn't make it true. Its ULL by state law. But you can say whatever you want. ULM chooses to say ULM you choose to say whatever.

Star system can be so over rated : there are many examples of great players in NFL and D1 sports were athletes did not get recruited by the bigger schools that turned out to be exceptional players. That is only one tool in evaluating talent.
