What a great year. 
I have a videotape of Reagan at commencement I need to digitize. It was awesome.

Baseball won the SEC and had the epic regional where we had to beat USC twice in a row to make it to Omaha!!!

I already digitized it.. But finding it is a whole different story thanks to many crashed hard drives in the last several years. I think I know where a good copy is still.
It includes him starting out with "hot jambalaya cold cous cous..." And the crowd going apeshit before the first words were out of his mouth.

That was my commencement ceremony, sat on the 20 yard line. Reagan told some story about the evils of communism. It totally fell flat.

A friend of mine worked out a deal for the law students to be a buffer zone between the regular students and the old people. We could walk in right at tip and get some of the best seats in the place.
