Vegas probably won't even have a pointspread listed for LSU-Towson, let alone a money line. That would likely be the biggest upset in the history of college football.
I really don't like these kinds of match-ups. While I have little doubt that LSU will win, there is always that Appalachian State factor in play. Remember what happened with them versus Michigan? If LSU doesn't explode all over Towson (what motivation would there be to do that?) then a little school like Towson can only gain - if not by beating the big school, then by keeping it close enough to embarrass a giant.

Dude lsu can come out dead as frick and play our 3rd string players and still win by 2/3 scores. Towson is much worse than that app state team was and lsu is much better than than mich team was. Terrible, terrible example.

100:1? That's it? Are you fricking serious?

You clearly aren't a true gambling man.

I think a couple of the offshore books (Pinnacle) has money lines on just about every game no matter what and a lot of the lines with Alabama (-30) against Ole Miss are something like +3600 on the money line, which is 36:1.

You should have just handed him the money and not waste your time.

Tell him to spot you 45 points and you MIGHT have a legit chance.

I didn't say that LSU couldn't or that I think they wouldn't. What I said is I don't like these kinds of match-ups, because if ever the unforseen, unexpected... whatever, happens and they play a close game (or God forbid, win the game) guess who gets embarrassed? The App St/Michigan game is just one very good example of what that is like, whether you agree or not, pal.

not my fight here, but you do realize that game is the only really good example in the last 50 years, right?

ok- I just googled it. James Madison over Va Tech, and App St over Michigan. Only 2 I could find listed, anywhere...

Vegas won't have a line on this game due to the fact the score will depend on how CLM is feeling that day. Lighthearted and generous...50 points, cranky with a tummyache...70 points.
