Hard to believe but in week 7 this will be our SEC home opener. Our only potential loss up to that point is Fla. AU only potential loss is Clemson.

Saving grace is that both Bama and Arky could be undefeated (provided Bama beats Fla. State)and Arky beats TCU.

PS. There is a Fla v. A&M game that day as well but there is no way CBS picks that up.

Let's play night football.

Please!!!
Looking forward to an afternoon of tailgating, not a 2:00 scorcher.

Fournette destroyed the entire Auburn secondary last time we played them in the afternoon.

Tommy Hodson & Eddie Fuller shook the actual earth when we played them at night.

I win

6:30 ESPN game would be nice there. Screw CBS.

Other than A&M (which will be at night), this is LSU's only real test at home. Would suck hard if it was a 2:30 CBS game

Most likely LSU vs Auburn on CBS. I don't see Arky being undefeated. I think they drop one or two when they play TCU, A&M, and South Carolina.

CBS always wants at least 1 home game at LSU at 2:30. It will probably be the auburn game.

It'll be LSU and Auburn because

this isn't happening

Now way they go 3-0 against TCU, TAMU, and at Scar

If Bama beats FSU, they will be on cruise control until @Auburn.

I think LSU/AU is the 2:30 game UNLESS CBS doesn't want LSU at 2:30 on back to back weekends (LSU/UF is the week before and I can't imagine it not being the 2:30 game).

The only good news is that the game is in mid-October. It MIGHT be somewhat pleasant weather as opposed to the game being in Sept. which would almost assure rain or brutal heat

I believe LSU will give them all they can handle.

A lot of factors in play. I'm sure CBS will pick up our Florida game the week before. Do they want to show LSU back to back weeks? That will be 3 times within 5 weeks if u count the Bama game 3 weeks later.

The last 2:30 game I went to in mid-October was Florida in 2013. People were dropping left and right at that game due to the heat.

The heat was one of several reasons I gave up my season tickets a few years back and settled for a nice large screen in an air-conditioned den with a nice recliner and my own food.

CBS did four straight Tennessee games last year.

Depending on how the season is going, they won't have a problem with it if they think our games will draw enough eyeballs.

Afternoon football in Tiger Stadium sucks. No other way to say it. Not LSU football. Like I'm watching two other teams somewhere else. Even the first and second quarter in one of those late Season November games while it's still daylight suck. (Everybody waiting for it to start getting dark in the third quarter) Anybody that likes or defends day games is certifiably ................
