No it's not. This is the coaches plan and it has never changed, the only way it would is if an elite QB wanted in this class and they dont, so they are signing Max and TJ and people need to get over it. They want to have 4 QBs next year if they can but as usual you might have a transfer already, or the next season have a transfer.
They are targeting Williams and Nussmeier for 2021 and we have a great shot at both.
I would expect 1, maybe even 2 QBs on the roster next year to transfer by the time 2021 rolls around and we might need 2 then too (if 2 QBs transferred).
If you only take 1 this class what happens if Parrish decided to take a hike after this season, carry 2 QBs with your backup being a true freshman?

Who is saying they are turning down any "elite DL"? What they define as elite may not be what you do. But they aren't turning down Phillip Webb, if that's who you are referring to. They aren't turning down Burch. They would take McKinley Jackson if he wanted in before signing day.
The rest of the guys aren't really elite if you don't consider the guys currently on LSU's roster as elite.

You are absolutely correct, I’d drop 1 if not both, and use those spots for Defense, and throw the chips in for DJ Ug.

Any truly “elite” DL who want in will get a spot. But not at the expense of a QB.
Too much attrition, and too much risk if you get an unforeseen injury, transfer, suspension, or whatever.

I 100% def would and I know which one i would drop just looking at both hudl films... you can get another TOP FLIGHT QB next year... go ahead and grab another OL/DL/DB now.. you do not need 2 QB's in this class... I would def try to get one to walk on for 1 year and use a scholly from when someone enters portal the next year... do all that you can to increase your class size for this one class where we are rocking it in the rankings...
