Only thing I’ve seen, she’s been working with or plays for former LSU Mbb great Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf AKA Chris Jackson.

Looks like a blue collar type recruit. A type Kim recruited at first when she was rebuilding Baylor. Kim is going to bring in high caliber players but it will also take some time to do that as well. Got to win here.
She obviously started clearing out space for recruiting and transfers with Lombard and Davis leaving. Next years team will probably look very different.

There are still a large number of players in the transfer portal per reports. I would imagine Kim and staff are looking to add 1 or 2 players for this year if the right player(s) are available.
For 2022 and beyond, I suspect that the new normal will be a combination of solid high school recruiting as well as pulling in several players from the transfer portal as needed.
Maybe I'm overly optimistic, but I don't think it will take long for Kim to make her mark and really improve the program's results.

LSU will have a shite load of open scholarship spots after this upcoming season. If she can add a couple of those recruits from that list and supplement through the portal to help jump start it, that would be big for us

Kim recruited her for a good reason, every program in America run roughshod to sign the stars, Mulkey will stay focused and will recruit compliant players, many stars or not. Mulkey will not sign lazily nor will she sign throw-aways, KM works smart and hard!!!

So far Dom has signed with Southern Miss, Ayres signed with Northwestern state,Treasure signed with Eastern Michigan and Tamia Ugass signed with Kansas City. So the talent Nikki had was pretty much mid major talent. Also T Young who I’ve always thought was over rated even is HS signed with Houston. With Ayres going to NSU I wonder if Cherie Cordoba lands as a assistant coach, they seem to follow each other.

I personally thought Young was talented but she honestly didn't really develop much under Nikki. Of course the offense in general was horrible for all player development when you tell kids to pass up open shots and just go for layups.
