Ponchy deserves to be ripped. Dude acted like he had a personal vendetta against Finley and crossed the line talking about a high school kid multiple times. Pretty sure he posted worse than you found, and the leadership stuff alone is cringe worthy.

Anyone that has read Ponchy Tiger’s views on race would know why he talked bad about Finley

Not me, buddy. I was always pretty outspoken when Ponchy would post his bs. I'm sure if you go back through those threads I'd often chime in when they'd talk their shite.

Like I said in my post, I loved the thought behind the OP to call that jackass out, but I just worried it was premature.

I was impressed with everything about Finley! He is a threat to run and got the running game going! Brennan struggles with that!

No crap he said repeatedly it would be great if he made it and did well, and he's an LSU fan I assume. Hopefully he approved of his interactions with his teammates and pregame routine on the college level.

All the while shitting on him at every opportunity. Nothing he said about Finley has proven to be true. His saying he hoped he was wrong does not excuse his crapping on the kid. And I guarantee he hoped he was right so he could say "I told you so". Nobody craps on a kid like he did without bad intentions. He, in fact, lied on Finley. It's great people like him cannot create a reality or set limits for others.

I kept saying that Ponchy Tiger was being hard on the kid. He needs a big serving of crow this morning.
And I am from Ponchatoula. I was angry everytime he attacke4d the kid.

I am 66 and went there when I was a kid. I don't attend games anymore but I watched a couple of his games on TV and highlights on the internet. I did watch him a few times when he was playing with friends at the park. His brother stood out too. He caught my eye a few years back.

Slow down bro. He looked awful and awkward running. Looked great rolling out and in the pocket. Looked excellent all around, but I thought the running plays looked forced and were not very productive.

With his height, that's going to get him hurt when someone goes after his legs.

Agree here. Finley looked great in the pocket and throws a really good ball. Running is not his best asset as a QB, and I'm fine with that. I felt nervous when he ran and thought he was going to get hurt. 6'6" is hard to get low and take a hit. He's going to get lit up if they run him too much. I'd rather see him throwing those bullets. Loved what I saw from Finley for the most part. You could tell they simplified the routes and reads for the younger QB, but you can also tell that him coming in for the last part of the championship run and sitting in the room with Brady and Burrow and Brennan really payed off. He looks like he knows what he's doing out there. Also, if he did get dinged up and we had to go with Max, he looked pretty comfortable and confident in limited use, as well. Didn't get to air it out, but both of our freshmen looked like they were ready. That's a good review of our offensive coaching, imo.
