Bomb Technician

Thought I’d show you guys a little snippet of Will. Recall, he is the No.1 Kicker in Class of 2019. We’ve had an offer out to him for a while. OK jumped into the mix and now Bama is trying to keep him at home. Word is another power 5 school is looking also.

I’d love to snag him. Potential to be a legit Groza finalist

I hope he looks at LSU’s kicking situation and knows he could win the job immediately

I don't recall anyone playing kicker and punter in college. I imagine it's happened but not often.

It’s rare. You don’t wanna put your eggs in one basket, but it is nice to have someone who can do both as insurance in case of injury

Appreciate all the kicker recruit info/kicking info in general that you bring to this board.

For a player that scores as many points as kickers do, I feel like kickers are often over looked in college football and thus it's difficult to find good info on them.

Just wanted to thank you for all the previous threads you've started and look forward to reading future ones.

One thing that really sticks out to me, besides the obvious distance and accuracy of kicks, is the amount of hang time on his punts. Holy crap, he's getting between 5 and 6 seconds consistently. If he can do that in a game on a consistent basis, it'll be difficult to return punts on him because the coverage will have you smothered with hang time like that.

LSU. Doesn't mean it can't change but we've led for a while and our depth(bound to have a transfer, or 2) is more attractive. They can sell the graduate kid leaving and having no confidence in the others. Bama has Bulovas.
