Why do insiders continue to beat around the bush on LSU’s NIL readiness and capabilities?

From radio to 247/On3, those close to the program continue to give vague responses when asked about where LSU stands relative to being able to meet the NIL market rates for the top players, particularly in the state?

They clearly know more than they let on. Why not just be forthright? Especially the pay sites where people are shelling out for the real scoop but are being stonewalled.

Well if Joenel Aguero doesn't have LSU in his top 4 bc of NIl then apparently LSU hasn't made the strides some think they have.

LSU is more than fine on NIL.

Does this mean they can battle Texas or Texas AM in terms of NIL and opportunities? No.
But compared to Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson they are right there.

LSU will continue to have top 10 classes with multiple 5 stars per year.
They are gonna get atleast 2 this year.

I mentioned this in one of my other posts. Kelly is not going to just sit back and let Saban walk into LSU’s backyard and steal the best safety in the class.

Derek Williams is priority number 1 for the defensive side of the ball.

After Lincoln Riley refuted the report, 1977 later doubled down and said it was still Riley.

well, it was Riley until USC came in at the last hour and made him an offer he couldn't refuse. I think it worked out best for all parties involved. Well, for all except OU anyway.

Because they don't know specifics. No one ever will. It's not exactly a transparent operation and it never will be. What exactly are you expecting?

1977 is making informed guesses, at best. Any things he has predicted correctly are always one of a few obvious possibilities, and he luckily picked the right one. Anyone with a decent knowledge of the program could do the same.

I don’t follow recruiting super close, but given the scrutiny A&M and Bama just opened up for themselves a few weeks ago, I’m very glad anyone connected to LSU is keeping details of whatever we’re doing close to the vest.

We don’t want that kind of attention, IMO.

One of the insiders on 2 paysites literally spelled out what LSU was going to pay every scholarship player a couple weeks ago

And today multiple insiders were talking about how big the deal was that was offered to Moore

Tigertooth posted the first on On3 in a posts about the new law

Today it’s in the Dante Moore thread on 247

Your post implies Georgia and Alabama are not going to compete with Texas and Texas A&M in NIL. That doesn’t sound right

I still don’t see what you’re talking about in the Moore thread

I did find the DrTigerTooth post, though on3’s search isn’t very good

There are 2 known insiders implying they offered Moore big time Nil money

Nobody is going to talk about specifics about recruits because they can’t legally get NIL until enrolled
