I was watching some Fournette highlights and I noticed this nice sized DE. I'm not sure which team he plays for.

Start at the 2:32 mark and he is number 94.

I think it's Hahnville and we were looking at that kid at one point, but he's going have to go to JUCO. Jovon or Juvon something is his name.

ETA: I just looked it up. Jovon Murray from Hahnville. Listed as a JR, but will be too old to play HS next year.

I'm pretty sure I'm about 9-10 years older than him. But nice try anyway.

So that's it, we find out who the kid is and our work is done. No analysis, or discussion of possible projections or ramifications of this kids talent. I think we need to all take a good long look in the mirror and decide on the type of recruiting board we want to be.

Very talented kid that LSU was very interested in and probably would've been offered but as earlier posted, his grades are horrible and apparantly unfixable at the HS level and he's juco bound even at this early juncture. Hard for me to understand how a kid is eligible to play football but yet has grades so bad as a hs junior that he is seen as a lost cause academically to get in college. Either his guidance counselor really fricked his credit load up or someone has been grade fixing to get him eligible for football. Maybe I'm way offbase but I'd love to hear how this happens.

He's simply too old. Probably held back a grade or two in elementary or middle school. The same thing happened to Alfred Blue but he got caught back up with summer school and stuff. Same reason Keiland Williams went to prep school.

Also, the requirements to play high school football just aren't as high as those to qualify for college football. Lots of kids have grades good enough for high school but not college.

Surprised that JT hasn't signed him. He would be the same age as his classmates.

LHSAA only requires a 1.5gpa to participate and most HS Coaches only think about keeping the kids eligible for THEIR benefit, sadly.
