Which State produces the best high school football players?

In the 90s and early 2000s it was Texas and Florida...but I think now Louisiana has to be right along side those two . Let me hear your opinion.

Per capita it’s Mississippi followed closely by Louisiana.

I agree. Mississippi, for the amount of people in that state, produces a lot of talent. Louisiana is also a hot bed, but I think Alabama is not far behind. I'm basing this on the population in each state and the number of prospects it produces yearly.

I will say Florida, Georgia, and California.
CA is known to produce top QBs year in and out. DJ and Bryce belong to this year's crop.

Go to a random high school game in every state, and in Mississippi or Louisiana your chance of watching NFL or D1 talent is higher than anywhere, unless you happen to land in Miami/Dade or some other urban center.

Washington DC (not a state though) is damn good per capita as well.
