6. LSU (72%)
1 five-star | 17 four-stars | 25 total recruits
Top Commit: Monroe (La.) Neville offensive tackle Zalance Heard, No. 11 in On3 Consensus
Summary: Will Brian Kelly lead LSU back to a national title? That was the big question that was asked when Kelly was hired and after an SEC championship appearance along with signing a top-5 class, the Tigers look to be heading that way. Kelly and co. ended the 2023 cycle signing five players ranked in the top-100 and 13 players ranked in the On300.

Some of those four stars should be five stars

Eh, all this is, is how many 4 and 5 stars did you sign relative to your overall class amount of recruits. Because they only got 20 commits and 1 is a 3 star or lower, Ohio St comes out on top. Kinda silly when you realize their top 5 players are WRs and corners.
For 2 coaches with their first full class, but Venables and Cristobal did damn well.
Oklahoma's big time problem was defense and QB of the future. They got the 3rd best QB IMO, and 10 4* or better defenders, including 4 of the top 90 overall recruits.
Miami's OL was horrible as well as defense. Their top 2 guys are 5 star tackles, and on defense they have 7 of them in the top 200 overall recruits. They even have 2 4* WRs and 2 4* RBs along with the #4 TE in the country. Losing Cormani and Rashada sucks, but they still made out great recruiting needs.

Napier does have an eye for talent. Some of those three stars he recruited to UL are turning out to be 1st day draft picks

One thing misleading is some teams like LSU identify a few under the radar guys that they want. That skewes this list
