I just scanned the basketball team rankings in recruiting and LSU sits 90th! What's up with that? We land Reid and Williams for a top-5 class last year and now we're sitting in the lower half of all college basketball teams! Has Wade gotten something up his sleeve that we don't now about? If we don't replace our studs with more studs, next year could be abysmal! I predict Waters, Reid and possibly even Smart may go pro and Bigby is a senior, so whose going to replace them?

Smart will not go pro. Waters could possibly return. We only have 2 commits right now. They are both good players. We will still get Sy, Quinones, and Watford probably. Could even get Dante if he reclassifys. The classes we have coming in these next few years will be stacked yet again. Nothing to worry about.

I hope you are right because this is the first year I've enjoyed watching LSU play basketball in many years! Keep us updated if you hear anything!

What are you talking about? The Ben Simmons year was a complete joke! What other time recently has LSU challenged for the SEC title and a high NCAA seating! LSU basketball hasn't been relevant in basketball in many, many years!

So you’re saying you only follow then when they are ranked?
(Insert bandwagon fan gif )

So like Cadello said, you only watch when we are ranked. You're not a fan

They have 2 studs already signed. Plus Courtese Cooper who is redshirting this season and Andre Hyatt who is redshirting this season.

I get wanting to see the ranking get higher but your take that next year could be abysmal is way off and really flawed. Even if we didn’t bring in another player with smart,Mays,Taylor, Williams and days that is a very solid 5 to start with plus the 2 redshirts that wade really likes and the 2 signees who both seem underrated. And even if things don’t go great the rest of the recruiting cycle it isn’t gonna devastate the program. With the way young players impact college basketball you can sustain success with 1-2 down years in recruiting because one year can bring in 2-3 immediate difference makers. Basketball recruiting isn’t like football where that would really hurt. With less available scholarships and less players overall your not gonna have classes of 4-5 absolute blue chippers every year unless you are Kentucky or duke and we aren’t quite there yet. Plus you in basketball it only takes 1-2 players to shoot you class ranking way up and most of our biggest targets are still on the board and looking pretty good. If we land quinones and watford alone we will probably shoot up to the top 20 classes. And we will have at least 1-2 more spots to fill. Plus Transfers can be just as big in college basketball as high school signees and Wade hits that market hard. We could bring in a player or 2 that way to really fill out the roster.

Why would a coach build a top ten program in two years then fail to recruit his third year. Our class will probably be almost as good as last year.

Dude, get a grip! When a team loses, fans go away! It's not about being a bandwagon fan, it's about being entertained. I guess you love going to games or watching games on TV when your team is getting beat all the time. Grow up dude! Please tell me one college basketball team in the country where the team loses for years and the attendance goes up! You're an idiot dude! I'm excited for LSU basketball and I'm excited about keeping it going, but there is always one DA that has some stupid comment to say and that's you!

Those people that go away are the bandwagon fans, such as yourself.

I support and attend LSU games win or lose.

There are plenty of examples where teams have kept strong support through down cycles and rough patches.

I hate bandwagon fans. The only year I didn’t watch most games was the Ben Simmons year because it was painful to watch.
