What’s the latest on Foreman & Byrd?

I’m seeing Smith & Leigh are very likely LSU at this point. Not seeing many LSU CBs for Foreman & Byrd, so I’m wondering if there’s any reason to be confident on those guys.

IMO, Foreman would be fun because he’s going to be a killer — but Smith, Leigh, and Byrd are really needed in terms of what we have.

Anybody got any insight to offer?

Byrd's recruitment is and has always been really quiet. Still status quo as far as I've seen. Oklahoma, SMU, LSU likely in that order but it's supposedly close and who knows.
Foreman's camp has been quiet since his USC visit. Word the last I heard was LSU/USC with UGA fading fast and Bama still in it.

I don't call anything at this point, with any of these kids, a lean are certain of anything, it's almost like, it's to quiet, and if so, then whoever pays the most, usually wins these battles!!

Foreman is visiting LSU for the Bama game. Third visit IIRC. Smoke is real.

I just always thought that it was a good sign when he rode down here to visit LSU with Nussmieir. Now that could also be bad because he did not bring relatives.

We need 4-3 DEs and Foreman was born to play that position.

I think Foreman and Smith really do want to play together that bad so I like our chances with him. Leigh is a must but I also think we need to find an interior OL guy. Bryce Foster would be great but if they see a 3* type they really like I would take a chance and grab him. Just imagine a 2021 or 2022 starting DL of:
RDE: BJ Ojulari
DT: Maason Smith
DT: Jaquelin Roy
LDE: Korey Foreman

Think we get Smith, Leigh, Foreman. I think Byrd goes elsewhere either OU or SMU and we land another offensive lineman possibly Kimo. Just my best guess.

What’s up with the Kimo kid, Fla St commit? Why isn’t anyone mentioning him as a possible commit anymore?

I think it depends on if LSU takes him or not but I promise you he likes us, a lot.

Good guess imo. I'm not optimistic we land Byrd. Really based on nothing more than gut

Same. He just hasn't shown repeated interest.

That’s the DL that wins a championship in 2-3 years

Add in Guillory and the bevy of DEs were recruiting this year.
