But you do know those things never go off on time.
One of the downsides of the new early signing period too I guess, no more waiting for 22 - 30 faxes.
I guess flips should be decreased somewhat too, that one cuts both ways.

Well, Dale, Foster is what you call a "trophy quarterback".
I'm an lsu fan.
I care about football.
Lsu has struggled for 5 yrs at qb.
Lsu is thin in qb depth and has serious questions about the health of one of the only two potential starters.
Foster has a legit offer sheet and was in the elite 11.
Foster has Lsu as one of his 4 choices.
So, yeah, it's a pretty big deal.

Meh, it's a joke and movie reference. Point of my post is to find out what time it is, not smarmy responses with no info. We need another qb. We need depth in every position. That's what the championship teams have. Numerous answers behind the starters. Depth to push everyone. What if Brennan only lit it up against crap miss teams. What would we do if Narcisse has bad legs or is as inaccurate as some reports? We gonna rely on McMillan? If he was worth a scholly, he would've seen legit time by now. He was a feeble attempt at landing DeMarkus Lodge.

I get your point and I'll dare say weve struggled for a decade other than Metts one big year. Even his first wasn't great. Jarrett Lee was solid in 11 but he was so scared of a pass rush that it minimalized(not sure a word) his ability. Its been the only thing holding us back for all that time. So much that I believe Sabans legacy would be less great if we had success half that time. Damn shame how history works out. And I'm not a Foster fan but facts are facts.

Yeah we need depth but if you just want a qb just for depth issues then im quite sure we can find someone already on the team to hand the ball off and save the scholarship for next year.Foster may or may not be a must get and would welcome him as a tiger.. Narccisse was rated higher than Foster is and thats with two repaired knees and all. I dont think we will ever find out what Mcmillian can or cant do but i can relate to a fan wanting to know who will sign but me myself im more concerned about Surtain Jr putting on that purple and gold hate which i think he will.

Agree that LSU is looking at foster as a backup if we miss out on others. Personally there are other options besides Foster I'd try to get in this class. Kid reminds me way too much of Jordan Jefferson...who was rated similarly out of HS.
Rather have Jordan Loving #4 on the depth chart as a walkon then give a scholly to a player that very well may never see the field.
