I was, and have been to every one since. Glad it's back to a more small gathering of loyal club members.

Not Warrick Dunn. You're thinking of Travis Minor.

I only went to a few when I was younger but I distinctly remember everyone expecting Travis Minor to flip from FSU during the bash.

The Advocate ran an ad promoting the first bash and listed a telephone number you could call for updates. I called the number that morning thinking there would be a recorded update. Some guy picked up and said "hello ". I said "is this the recruiting bash update number?" He said "sure is. Who you wanna know about?"

I still crack up when I think about that guy.

No, but I did go to the Hilton a few times AND I saw LSU play basketball at the Cow Palace. I missed Pete Maravich by about 2 or 3 years.

Travis minor would've been February 1997. I only remember this bc it was when I applied to catholic high lol. His calves looked like they had softballs inserted under his skin at the open house.

I was. Went to them for many years. After a very close friend of mine (Jim Faulkner) passed, I lost heart in going. Just watched signings on TV and computer.
