Dylan,Surtain,and Sophser did us dirty.Van Pran handled himself in a classy way and has been treated accordingly.

I agree. He went about this the right way. That being said, and I understand some kids just want to get away from Louisiana, there's certain factors they don't understand. Once you leave you can never return to the place you left. People will change, environment will change, a lot of things will change. But when football is over you won't be able to return to your home and prosper in another field. Well, some can, but mostly you can't. Those that go to LSU will always be successful in any venture they choose. Those that go to LSU will forever be a part of the LSU family and will always have the support of this fan base. That kind of support goes a very long way! I doubt players get much of that from fans in other schools. But, I wish him well.

Interesting note I heard on the pregame show from Shea Dixon on Van Pran. There have been numerous posters on this board touting him as an elite LT prospect. What I found to be interesting is that Shea said he is not a tackle and is not being recruited as such. He is a center and a damn good one.
FWIW, he also said he appears to be solid to UGA.

I haven't seen a single person call him an elite LT prospect. That would be Dumervil. Would love to have both.
