He is pretty good.
I'm guessing he is leaving since the db coach went to georgia.
Smith was an Associated Press third team all-American as a sophomore last season, when he was fourth on the Mountaineers with 61 tackles. He also had two interceptions and five pass breakups. He started 17 games over two seasons.

Auburn and Georgia battle at the moment. LSU isn’t recruiting him which is very dumb and I’d love to know why the hell not.

He just signed two top 5 safeties from 2021 cycle and the #2 safety (Jacoby Mathews) for 2022 is right in our back yard. Ward just moved to Safety. I highly doubt we need to bring in a transfer. I do think we need another CB.
