This is sad.
All these commitments from highly rated players and at OL, an area that really needs to be addressed, this happens.

Kid doesn't want to play in Louisiana. Hard to recruit that.

This one is far from over
Hopefully we push for Myles Murao

But if we had him in the fold people would bitch that we need tackles and not more guards or some shite.

If I’m not mistaken, Marlon Martinez is supposed to be working at OG and Center this year? I could be mistaken on that though.
We also have Charles Turner (#8 OC) last year and Cole Smith (#8 OC) the year before. Charles Turner had the better of the 2 offer list. I really don’t think we are hurting for interior linemen this cycle but next year will be crucial. Developing what we have is the key here and use the remaining scholarships on Dlinemen and OT’s.
Of course you definitely take Pran if he wants in. I’m just saying his position isn’t as crucial as other positions in this class.

Hines could also be someone who moves over to center.

We’re fine at center and guard based on the last two classes. We need guys at tackle which is why losing Van Pran isn’t the end of the world. A lot of kids from Nola want to get away from the city for college and I can’t say that I completely blame them based on how some grow up.

LSU might continue to push with Cole Smith supposedly looking to transfer. If not than they definitely should go all out on Mauro and get both Busch and Udeze involved.

Where have you heard Cole Smith is looking to transfer? That doesn’t make much sense considering he is set to take over for Cushenberry.

I had not heard that. Cole is just undersized right now. As long as he can put on the needed weight and strength he could be a very good center.

Someone posted on the rant he entered the portal.

Dline is the position of need this cycle. Like you mentioned we don't really need oline this class. LSU has 8 or 9 olinemen that are fr and soph, they only have like 4 or 5 dlinemn that are fr or soph. I think LSU is taking only the very best olinemen they can get. Players that they feel will contribute s freshmen, no major or even minor projects. Not much you can do when you have a kid that wants to go out-of-state. Van Pran is good and LSU wants him, but they do not need him. Like you said, next years class they will need olinmen. Of course anytime someone comments something that is logical and makes sense on here, they get negative feedback. LMAO

1st clue was when Cole Smith entered the transfer portal.

Hard to blame an inner city kid wanting to get away and see something different.

We need at least 2 more OT’s in this class.

Do Van Pran and Ashaad Johnson want to play on the same team?

I would think Cole Smith possibly leaving would make coming to LSU more attractive for Van Pran. If he still wants to go to UGA, he was never going to come here in the first place.
