I feel there’s a story to be told with Leigh’s recruitment. He had that visit that Nuss put together. Brought his entire family. They loved it, were raving about it on radio shows, CBs started pouring in from the recruiting analysts like a commitment was imminent. He scheduled a follow up trip with his girlfriend the very next weekend and then that’s when things went cold. Two weeks later picks for OU started coming in and no one could figure out why. What the hell happened on that second trip!?!?

Holy smokes this is one of the most thorough misses I’ve seen in some time. It’s like a thesis on what not to do when following recruiting.

Honest question here... how much of this is Creggs fault or is this more of the dark cloud above O and the program with the sexual assault stuff??

Yeah actually Leigh deciding to wait until Feb is actually huge for us....didn’t see that coming. Thought it was for sure OU today.

So you see this as directly related to his indecision between LSU/Ok?

I actually drop my little info more on the recruiting board than anywhere. I just don’t ask much until close to the announcements for big name players or signing days because there is so much back and forth that it’s not worth getting your hopes up here. I’m still really pissed on losing Cisse to Memphis in basketball.
