I know some of you would prefer someone else but this kid is a player. In this offense he will be Fosters replacement because of his blocking skills.

I remember Foster got an offer late in his recruitment and he has been a blessing. I think TK will be great find in this class.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like Foster has taken a huge step back this year. He was never much a receiver, but he used to be a GREAT blocker and this year he's almost struggled in that aspect.

Bottom line though, we need receiving TEs. Right now teams know our TEs, when in the game, dont need to be covered and that hurts us.

I agree with you but for some reason great recieving TE's just come here to block so might as well find a great blocking TE and see if he can catch.

We need to move away from the Les Miles era players. IT's killing us in the trenches, it's killing us in the passing game, etc...

I have nothing against TK, he might be a very fine run blocking TE. But the guy has like a handful of catches in 2 seasons in JUCO, and we dont need that right now. TEs should be able bodied receivers, Irv Smith isn't good because of his blocking ability, it's because he's a mismatch in the pass game, and that's a MUCH MUCH greater impact than a TE who can block.

Is Jace Sternberger a breakout TE because of his blocking? Heck no, the dude is a total mismatch in the receiving game and A&M exploits that all the time. He leads that team in receiving yards. A kid from JUCO.

If we just want an extra offensive lineman in the game, then just put an extra offensive linemen in the game, end of story.

I'd like a tight end with a little quicker feet IMHO

Need big TEs that learn to block then become tackled. Didn’t that happen before?

I just thought TK Mc was supposed to be a very physically mature athletic guy who could play either TE or DE. I know he hasn't caught a lot of balls in JUCO and probably didn't have many thrown his way, but didn't know the staff was just bringing him in to be a blocking TE. Wonder how he showed out in the camp that made the staff want to extend an offer to him?

Hope LSU never passes on another local kid like Bama's TE Irvin from Brother Martin in New Orleans.

See Jacory Washington.

Dude won hands skills competitions against 5 star WRs convincingly as a senior in HS. Would have been unstoppable in short and intermediate passing, with a great vertical and height advantage against any corner, safety or LB. But he wasn't the best blocker, ever, so honestly not sure how Miles ever even got him to commit.

Rode the pine his entire career at LSU. Glad he got his degree, and I wish him all the best. But we utterly wasted his potential.

Foster Moreau

One the most overrrated players on this team. He has made a few decent plays but he's very average. Meanwhile... Bama has Irv Smith (Another Louisiana Kid) looking like a legit NFL TE prospect.
