Whether he signs with LSU or not won't affect my life one bit. I'm just pointing out that to say we have enough WR's already and we don't need him is not a realistic approach to recruiting.

Have we ever struggled for talent at the WR position? We’ll get our playmakers and Thomas will go somewhere else for college. People will freak out because he’s highly ranked, but we’ll be fine.

This is what was said about DB as recently as a year ago, and right now we are struggling at DB because we have not been recruiting enough of them.

LSU’s success at WR and corner are not the results of magic beans or a genie from a bottle.

Hell, let him go.
On to the next one. Don't need him...
LSU need guys who want to be Tigers.

The point is 1. He’s from Louisiana 2. Who we will lose him to. 3. Highest rated WR in the South. , it’s not about the sky is falling, it’s about winning a Natty, recent WRs in the NFL, close to home and still can’t CLOSE the deal.

It's bizarre that we're losing ground on BTJ to other schools.

It's downright embarrassing that one of those schools is Texas A&M.

Why do you think that Is?

Could it have anything to do with a&m having a shite load of money

Same reason they got McKinley Jackson last year

All of those points you listed are valid. As a local WR, there’s not much else you could be looking for in a school than what LSU has to offer. I’m not sure what else he wants from LSU?

It’s not him. It’s the family. We could win another national championship this year and not get him if it becomes a contest of who can write the biggest check.

An elite Louisianimal gets plucked every year

Some thought Ish was elite. But turned out not so much. 2016 we didn’t miss on anyone we wanted in state and you could say the same for several other years. And as with Ish, many of the “elite” who got “plucked every year” also turned out not to be so elite after all.
