I like to look back and see what freshmen contribute. We had several that play starting roles and many more who played meaningful minutes. The staff did a great job with that class.

Super recruiting all the time! Great talent evaluators, at building relationships and laying out the future to recruits.

And Siaki Ika.

And Joseph Evans.

And Trey Palmer with a nice punt return early in the season.

What do yall think Brooks plays next year? Hes great at rushing the passer but I still think hes out of position and hes on the field because you just cant hide talent like that. Really hope he plays a role like Stevens.

Coming off an 18’ class where you got a Heisman & bilitnikoff winner and a Lou groza finalist to name a few, not a bad couple of years

Seems like he is at OLB out of necessity. Likely will be SS imo

Agreed. Young FR secondary of Stingley, Flott, Ward, and Hampton ALL got some quality PT to show what they can do and realize what they need to do to get better this offseason.

You must have not gotten the memo. 2018 was the worst class in LSU history.

Top notch Evaluating of recruits
Top notch 1 on 1 recruiting with both coaches and players
Top notch motivation
And the big difference between LSU and ole miss, the ability to let everyone do their job and not micromanage. And To find out whats wrong and truly fix it. If O is not national coach of the year the system is rigged.

Pretty sure he had problems enrolling or whatever and got here late, probably just gonna redshirt him and he should be ready for next year.

I totally agree with this. Look at the records that coach O has broken with his teams since becoming HC. Look at his top 10 matchup wins or top 25 is better. Look at the turn around he’s made and how he’s changed the narrative around LSUs brand in 2 years. He did all this while being criticized and scrutinized by just about everyone, especially some of his own fan base. This man deserves to be recognized on a national scale.

Speaking of awards and it being rigged. If Burrow doesn’t win this Heisman or Chase doesn’t win this Biletnikoff then it’s rigged as well. They’re both the best at their positions and it’s not close. Burrow has the best single season then any QB in SEC history.

Not only does he have 4366 passing yards and 44 passing TDs with a 78% completion percentage but you can add 248 rush yards with 3 more TDs on the ground. That’s 47 total TDs he’s responsible for and 4614 total yards. That’s simply outstanding and it will go down in SEC history.

Burrow will be near 53 passing TDs with close to 5500 yards passing if we make it to the championship game and he passes for 350 yards a game averaged and passes for 3 TDs a game averaged. Which is all realistic stats and I say probable if not more. That’s insane and blows past every QB in LSU history and will probably not be beaten or repeated for a very long time. You never know but that is some historic numbers. There’s just no way he can be denied that award.

Chase is easily on his way to beating the SEC record for TDs in a season and could come close to the NCAA record in both yards and TDs with 3 more games remaining. He will most definitely climb up the record books quickly in the next few games. If he can average 200 yards a game and 3 TDs a game he’ll be right there after 3 games. I know that’s a lot but it’s a possibility.

I don’t see GA slowing this offense down much. I think we can get to 40 points on them if we play a solid game. This season is one for the ages and I’m glad I’ve got to witness it first hand. Amazing season.
