I think Faulk and Claiborne will end up being the best two players out of this class.

Randle, Montgomery, Brockers in the next tier.

Then the rest.

One of the best classes ever signed at LSU.

Its crazy how productive this class is. Even guys like Bennie Logan that weren't that highly recruited are awesome.

I thought Logan would be really good after, on signing day, one of the Rivals national guys said if they had his tape before he would have been a top 100 player. They considered one of the biggest steals in the class.

Really hope he can be injury free.

How often can you get:

-All American CB
-All SEC DE
-All SEC WR
Plus
- 2 Starting OL (Faulk and Williford)
- Starting MLB (Minter)
- 2 other starting DL (Brockers and Logan)
- #3 WR (RS)
- Several key backups
- 700+ yard RB

All in the same recruiting class?

This class is funny because the lower rated players have out performed all the higher rated players.

I know what you are saying.... but really it's not all that uncommon.... some "studs" are duds at the SEC D-I level and some kids mature a year or two later and really flourish.

Miles has not had a bad class since arriving... his first/Nick's last -- the 2005 signing class was probably the weakest but still was strong.

By the time he leaves Logan will be in that group of 3 after Faulk and Claiborne. It's a good thing we rotate lineman alot or people would start calling Anthony Johnson a bust next year if Brockers returns. Johnson's not taking that starting job from Logan. How many around here would've thought that this time last year? Not me to be honest. Logan is a future 1st rounder imo.

Just wondering, what was this class ranked across the sites?

This class is a great example of how good our coaches are at evaulating talent. More than a few guys who weren't big time recruits or had a bunch of stars but our coaches know the type of young men they want. We are really fortunate as LSU fans to have the coaching staff we have.

Montgomery, Brockers, Randle, Ford, and Faulk were all VERY highly rated. I would say that only Mo has outperformed them

Randle, Shepard, and loston were all five stars who have not completely reached their potential. Where as some of the other low 4 stars and 3 stars have become superstars

First of all RR needs to be taken out of this group. RR has been really good at LSU given how bad we have been at QB. Faulk, Sam, Ford, Brockers were high 4 star guys. Who other than Mo has been a great player as a 3 star?

This clas has been good from top to bottom. Your statement makes it seem like the high star guys have played poorly. RS may not have lived up to the hype but he has outperformed 3 star guys like downs and Wiliford when it comes to quality of play.

Mingo is going to be a high pick in the draft next year.
Ruben Randle has been our best wr but Imo he has not performed up to expectations. He was the #2 overall player on rivals and was supposed to be the next Julio or aj green, but he has turned out to be a notch lower than them. Randle can't take over games like they could.
