Texas AM quarterback James Foster has entered the transfer portal

He was a quarterback that we recruited heavily out of Montgomery, AL and he was the last guy Coach O was trying to get in the 2018 class. I believe that last spot went to Joe Burrow. Let’s thank James Foster for his service of picking Jimbo Fisher.

Guy we pursued and saved a spot for. Got really burned by him and Surtain caused us to miss out on some really good players in Ardarius Washington and Mario Goodrich.

We slow played goodrich cause we were focusing on Surtain. Surtain informed the staff the night before signing day that he would be going to the dark side, so they tried to make a last ditch effort for goodrich. It was too late

Little did Pat Surtain Jr know, Goodrich got his championship when they beat the living shite out of Bama and LSU got their championship the following year. But never forget he took this on his official visit to Bama and this is the reason why he chose them over us thinking that was going to be him every year lol

Yeah they did. They didn't greenlight him until the night before signing day. They could've had him committed a couple weeks prior if they would've gave him the ok. They didn't and when they circled back he stuck with who stuck with him. Was pissed at the time, thought they should've taken both. We had to take Terrance Alexander as a transfer because we completely struck out at CB in that class. The staff has gotten smarter since that mishap.
Kids at worst a Jr that's been playing behind a couple of pro draft picks. Not everyone is a phenom. He played some in the title game. Maybe he'd be pushing Ward and Flott if we would've taken him.
