This guy isn’t very accurate, but it’s still strange. I didn’t even think South Carolina was in the mix

I noticed that as well. Appears to be a USCe homer.

68% all time accuracy I could do better than that by guessing random schools based on recruits’ hometowns

Yeah kind of weird he put him at 100 percent. He has a 68 % prediction accuracy according to his 247 profile, not sure how that compares to the other guys there.

Oddly, there has been some chatter of him starting to look at SC seriously. I really don’t get it. But, Shane Beamer is putting together a very sold class for the Gamecocks. This would be a crazy pull for them. I’ll believe it when I see it though…

They’re a legit dark horse for him

I believe Harbor was down there recently. Definitely some buzz in USC circles about him headed to Columbia. Beamer is on a ROLL lately too so who knows.

Their top recruit would be ranked 9th in our class granted, Harbor is at the very top of my wish list this year and close to Fournette in my all time wish list, so I’m biased, but SC better ante up if they want to play with us

Actually I just looked at USCe's class and they are killing it, 7-8 in the top 300 and 4-5 in top 150. That's way better than I thought they would have. Would be pretty surprised if they beat out all the big dogs for Harbor but that would put them in the area of a top 10ish class , which is nuts for them.

That wasn’t my opinion bud. Their top recruit would be the 9th ranked recruit in our class

But you put a laughing emoji after saying it. Beamer is a good recruiter. One of his teammates is going there and they have been on him heavy.

Still think lsu is at worst top 2 with their track program.

USC hasn’t had a top 15 class since 2009 so getting a guy like Harbor (if he chooses them) + what they have committed + the transfer portal momentum (Rattler, Stogner…) + the positive momentum from last season…. Beamer is doing things (with or without Harbor).

Beamer >>> Sun Belt Billy. Always.

He essentially made that pick due to their new NIL collective. Sam from the Michigan board actually caught up with Harbor for another brief interview and things are pretty much the same as it was the last 2 months. Only difference is he might have to switch some dates on his OVs because they play most of their games on Saturdays.

Like someone mentioned they are currently considered the darkhorse, most think it will come down to LSU and Michigan.

Is this Frank Beamer from VT son?

Man could that dude coach special teams. Seemed they blocked two kicks a game, and any important FG they chose

Obviously I don’t want him there.

With regard to Beamer being on a roll it would be nice if there was at least a minuscule of parity in the East. UGA has a cakewalk into SECCG every year now.

Yes, his son.

I’m ready to run through a wall for a guy like that. Love CBK, but I love what Beamer is doing with USC. Would love to see them challenge UGA annually.

LSU v USC SEC Title Games would go over reallllly well in my family.

I don't want them to get Harbor, but a good USC team every year potentially knocks Clemson out of the playoff, so I'm all for them being a good team. I like Beamer as a coach too. I could see him in LSU in 10 years. Trying to win 5 natty to top what Kelly did here.
