because lsu is making significant inroads in their own state for the future, regardless of whether they wanted players lsu is currently getting or not.

shepard and pratt really hurt them.

they wanted brent but he has shot them down, if lsu could somehow get him that would be another.

many of them question why they arent going after guys like lowe and chris williams.

if lsu could get mcfarland the meltdown will be epic.

Also a lot of Texas fans think Mack is asleep at the wheel with a lot of recruits. Many feel Shep didn't get a fair shake, and that Loston was pretty much ignored by the staff. Trent Richardson also been discussed lately, as suppossedly he's wanted to be a Horn his whole life and Texas is not recruting him hard at all. Basically they feel their coaches are getting outworked and it's only a matter of time before the empire starts to come down.

Texas thought they would get Chancey Aghayere. A coach I know in Texas calls him a game changer.

No, I'm trying to save money for the MS game. He will be in good hands when he comes to LSU for camp. I hear a few other top talent from this area will be going with him. But don't worry about anything because it's the fans on Saturday night who will seal the deal for LS.

Sorry, I did not mean to hijack this thread. Stavion is a great pickup if true. I was trying to put an ! on what was said about the pressure Mack will be feeling after this years recruiting losses to LSU.
