You are exactly right, and I debated posting about it, because I'm not sure anyone in this thread is capable of comprehending it.

There are several LA kids in recent years that Tennessee took a chance on that were not offered by LSU, and how has that turned out for them.

Lucas Taylor couldn't stay eligible for their bowl game, and really hasn't had much of an impact anyway.

Everyone asks about the numbers and how many we can fit in this class, who's transferring, etc., but when crunch time comes, we should have offered every kid on the board. I'm not privy to the coaches' exact thoughts on the situation, but the team has needs to fill, and limited space to do it.

Players like RJF, Rolando Melancon, Darrington Sentimore, DeAngelo Benton, are a hard call to make. I am certain the staff has put considerable thought into it, and have had an outstanding record to date in such matters, so why would anyone question it, especially with the limited knowledge they have?

commitment BS, i wish him luck but this is the truth

if you are engaged, but love another women that isn't sure she feels the same, what do you do if the women that you love suddenly decides she wants to be with you? Honor the engagement and live with that for the rest of your life or cancel the whole thing to be with the women you love.

I wish the best to DS, but throw out all the commitment bullshite at this point - after tomorrow nobody will care that "he was true to his word", and the boat he always wanted to be on will be sailing away without him.

Just my thought

According to his brother...he's going to Bama. His mom told him that if LSU would've wanted him, LSU would've been after him, not just "all of a sudden." So unless he grows a pair and makes his own decision come tomorrow, he'll wear crimson.

This is as of 11:30 a.m.

I've heard a few people saying that as well, including some of his friends. However, I don't even think he knows might be a spur of the moment emotional thing for him.

i thought we did want him all along, but didnt give an official scholly until his grades improved... i may be wrong though.

as for the grey shirt... what does he think saban will do to him? start him as a freshman? if he does make it to school and doesnt have to go to a JC, he could get greyshirted since they are adding more recruits than they have spaces open.

Can't beat mom. Although mom in this context may not be the most objective advisor.

I mean, she's basically telling Sentimore to go with Saban because he was truer to you. Ick.

yeah...you know how pushy mother's can be...but like i was told when i went to college...it's time to grow up and make your own decisions...good or bad..you live with them and move on.

if he wants to be a tiger...he should be a tiger...nothing like spending 4 years at a school you hate, on a team you really don't have your heart set on.
