How do you feel about loosing out to Priest Willis, tahaan goodman and Noel ellis...

I, for one, am still a little bummed because i feel we could have used willis this year, but very happy with how we are looking

we already have very capable guys like dwayne thomas backing up collins/mills. i hope thomas overtakes collins to be honest.

other than that, i don't think we're in bad shape at all without willis or ellis.

if i'd wanted davidflores on my side, i'd definitely have offered ellis.

Not so sure we "lost out" on Ellis but losing Willis still sucked even if he was from very far away.

But I'm sure it will be easily forgotten when these 2014 DBs step on campus.

Could have used both of them but it's no biggie. From most reports Corey Thompson, Dwayne Thomas, Sandolph, and Holmes have stepped it up. So we have solid depth there already with more in a few months.

Goodman - really don't care
Ellis - don't care
Willis - really wish we could've reeled him in

Ellis I will only begin to care if he turns into a great player at TAMU or if any of the Karr kids somehow manage to slip away from LSU and go to A&M because of his influence (for the record I don't think he has any influence on that decision at all, just sayin).

It would be a cold day in hell before LSU would offer Noel Ellis ...

or was that a cold day in hell before Sr. would let his son play for LSU ...

either way I couldnt care less ...

I think you have to distinguish Corners from Safeties. LSU has lost out on their top Safety targets in the past 2 classes and Hootie Jones is far from a lock .

LSU does not have to worry about DB's. Whether or not the tigers get the best high school recruits, they are all very well coached at this level. It seems to me that the tiger secondary coaches are very good at what they do. Just like Duane Akina at Texas. Longhorn DB's and LSU DB's are the real deal! Any NFL team that take a longhorn DB or a Tiger DB is getting a very solid player. Proof is in the amount of DB's that both teams have in the NFL!

So i would not worry about how they are shaping up, especially with your 2014 haul, that will be coming.
