His choice may show which recruiting service for lsu has the best info. 247 guys are iffy but seem to still think Bama. Rivals is extremely highly confident Ryan is picking LSU. An interesting comparison. Obviously things can change from recruit to recruit depending on who you know.

Yet last year we had many saying Roy was all bama. Same with boutte. But they ended up with LSU. I have no idea in Ryan. Though it does look bad.

All the big time national guys thinks it’s Bama. The local 247 guys seem to be undecided, but slightly lean Bama. The local Rivals crew thinks is all LSU.
I think if that kid set a commitment date to commit to Bama and he informed them that he was doing so then it’s has to be Bama. I would be more confident in LSU I’d he pushed his date back but that’s not happening.

I’m pretty confident he’s picking Bama today, but in no way do I think his recruitment is over. That goes for if he picks LSU as well. Almost makes today feel irrelevant.

That’s one season. Bama has done that since 2007. Look at the current situations, they don’t have down years except 1/10 and it’s typically 10-2

I have often wondered what the benefit of stringing the home state along would be and this actually makes sense.

You’re not wrong, but the quote literally says he doesn’t have to worry about them having a bad or down season.
After not making their own conference championship, much less the playoff or national title, I don’t think there’s anyone in that building that would say last season was a good season for them.
So the quote is bs.

Similar to the bs that Surtain said about “i wanna win national championships” meanwhile he got boat raced and torched vs Clemson as a Freshman and didn’t even play in the playoff last year while LSU romped to a title.

All the Bama insiders are saying Bama and all of LSU are saying LSU. It’s going to be a melt today from one side. Bama usually gets their man though which makes me nervous. Still been told he comes here. I hate recruiting
