Free article with predictions by Jimmy Details and Sam Spiegelman.

There is a "rationale" piece for each player pick by both of them.

Sam's picks:

RB: John Emery Jr.
Confidence: 51 percent

WR: Devonta Lee
Confidence: 78 percent

DB: Christian Williams
Confidence: 39 percent

DL: Ishmael Sopsher
Confidence: 45 percent

DL: Rodney Sopsher
Confidence: 45 percent

QB: Knox Kadum
Confidence: 33 percent

Jimmy Smith's projections:

RB: John Emery
Confidence: 51%

WR: Devonta Lee
Confidence: 70%

DL: Ishmael Sopsher
Confidence: 51%

Rodney Sopsher
Confidence: 40%

Rationale: Rodney Sopsher is not a lock to LSU even if his brother commits, as the family weighs options that may suit him better, according to a source close to the family. Alabama has expressed interest in helping Rodney find a school that may be a better fit, as they are not willing to offer him a scholarship like LSU recently did. The two brothers love the idea of playing together, but it is not something that is set in stone, even if Ishmael elects to play at LSU.

CB: Jay Ward
Confidence: 45%

DL: Myron Warren
Confidence: 40%

Williams would be a huge, huge steal from Bama.

The Alabama machine on full display, here. They have probably convinced the Sopshers that it's a negative that LSU offered Rodney instead of "looking out for his best interest".

High unlikely Alabama is even acknowledging Sopsher's mom and/or dad beyond pleasantries. This is all being run through Sanders and Petito.

Most of those odds don't look very good to me at this point.

Not to be a hater, but anyone who follows the recruiting board regularly could have put this list out. The only surprise to me is that they have Sopsher so high.

One guy I'd put at legit 50/50 is Nakobe Dean. And would break it down further to the point that if indeed he does visit LSU on the last recruiting weekend in December, Aranda will get him. If he doesn't visit, he's going to Georgia.

Bama and Georgia fans insist they are the only 2 teams with a shot

What this really means is Bama is going to offer him a shite load of $ and a car, and that's in his family's best interest. It's a nice situation where Rodney will be the bag receiver for both him and his brother. Ishmael stays completely clean.

I would put the odds for Lee at 79% instead of 78%, but that's just me.

LOL, how does one come up with number like 78% and put it out there with a straight face?

Will somebody please call Lord Saban on this garbage? "Yo Rod. We don't want you to play here. But if you don't commit to LSU and get Bubba to come to T-Town, we'll find somebody to pass you off on."

You can forget Ish, when it comes down to signing with sabama, he won't give a flying (explicit word) where his brother is. And that's a fact Jack.
