He was the primary recruiter for kids in 6 different states. I'd say he's their closer. But it's not just about this year. He's proven himself over the years at both Cal and Washington to be one of the top recruiters on the West Coast.

I think I would rather have Lupoi on the LSU coaching staff than Foster as a recruit.
Too bad Lupoi does not coach offensive line. He would be a most welcome addition and a considerable upgrade from Studrawa if so--but I am sure he is staying at Washington.
I realize Stud is also OC, but I would greatly prefer to see someone else in that capacity as well.
