He wasnt highly rated at all.I think he moved to 4 star after we offered. And werent we the first SEC school to offer him?
I watched him get abused by Dhaquille Williams and couldn't believe he was offered by LSU. The guy has really turned into something special at LSU. My favorite Tiger

I believe Jarvis Landry also blew up at the UT Camp...and this was going into his junior year.

For the person saying that it wouldn't have mattered, that Since Mathieu was from St Aug he was a lock cause of Frank. Well Frank was still a member of the UT coaching staff.

Who really cares about rankings and all that bullshite. Let me tell you this, last year Rivals had Eric Reid as the 90th best player in the country, and the 6th best safety prospect. Now tell me this, do you think there were 89 better freshman players in the country than Eric Reid ? Or how about 5 true freshman safety's better than Eric Reid ?

That's why im excited about guys like Micah Eugene...I trust the coaches

One of my good friends is an assistant coach for PBS. Besides La'El Collins, he says that Eugene is by far and away the best player they have faced the past two years. That includes Kenny Hilliard of PHS and Jeremy Hill of RHS. They faced all three of these twice in the last two years.

I can buy that for sure. For anyone who hasn't seen Eugene's highlights: yo are in for a treat. Guy hits really hard for his size and has good ball skills at the safety position.
