Per that ESPN list, LSU has 56 and Bama has 50. The difference in six players over that many years is insignificant. Going to LSU would not have given him a better chance of making it to the NFL.

It wouldn't have given him less of a chance either.

LSU gets enough exposure that if he is good, he'll get noticed.
There is plenty of respect of SEC athletes

This is exactly why I would like to see an NFL minor league system to take the players who are only interested in a professional football path. The college game should be restored to the student-athlete.

The sport will probably become unwatchable at that point

Talk to people who experienced college ball in the 50s and 60s.

Many will tell you that it was more fun.

Do you know how many LSU players are in the NFL

Just shows you how much these LSU teams have underachieved over the years with all that supposed talent

Just look at all those juniors who left in the past 7 years...they could have stayed their senior seasons..it’s almost like they accepted the fact that they won’t win hardware and chose to leave early...what does that say about the state of our program when juniors who could have stayed to up their draft grade decided to bolt..it’s been an epidemic
