Recruiting tidbits: Nathan Pickering, Ishmael Sospher and Devonta Lee

Article states that Ishmael is only going a school that his brother goes too. Pickering saying Bama has the best shot to flip him and that Devonta Lee is gonna take a visit to A&M but LSU is the perceived leader.

Agreed. Of course in a dream scenario I would love to land Sospher without taking his brother, but at least he’ll only waste a scholarship for 2 years and not 4. We just have to pull out all the stops to get Sospher to LSU.

We did the same thing with Fournette. No offense to Lanard but without Leonard he probably ends up at Tulane or ULM

No doubt. If me and Solo Cam are dead wrong, trash us and Sospher if he chooses Bama, but for now, don’t trash the kid.

I didn’t really mean it to sound like how it did. I just meant no one should be trashing him right now like we have seen. Like solo cam mentioned he could very well end up here, and we have seen many people talk bad about him for a year now.

My ideal finish would be to sign Parker, and Hampton. Then to land Sospher, his brother of course because this is inevitable, lee, and flipping George Pickens. 2020 will be loaded on the d-line.

Except are there even any other SEC caliber players coming up in Amite? I mean, before Shyheim Carter (I know he was Kentwood but still he was linked to Sanders) the last guy from that area LSU recruited was Lester Ricard in the early 2000s.

This is my ideal finish too, if Hampton makes it to campus. Otherwise I'd rather Christian Williams in his spot. I really think we need a safety prospect in this class.

Doesn’t matter. Walling off La 100% and taking 2 from Amite that were Bama locks is a huge victory
How many times since Saban broke the fence has LSU batted 1.000 in La?
