It makes zero sense regardless from a state or federal level. The NCAA has essentially decided to cancel face to face recruiting with zero justification

But to prohibit home and HS visits by coaches, or individual college visits by players, is ridiculous.
The main issue I have with the whole system is that the conferences have total control over if/how/when they play, and the NCAA has no say-so, but when it comes to recruiting the NCAA is the only entity with authority. Totally inconsistent.

I hate it because it's going to kill the hopes of some of my players who are good enough to play ball in college.

Get tape out to any and every school you can. Get it on hudl or another platform and just flood schools big and small with it through email. Make calls if you can. The onus is more on coaches and parents this year to get their kids exposed to staffs. It sucks and a disservice to the kids and schools who aren't getting a legitimate chance to vet each other. Can't believe the expect kids to make 4-5 year decisions with no in person contact. Makes no sense.

LSUs going to finish with a top 3 class with a great shot at landing Leigh abs Foreman abs Smith. If these chips fall LSUs way, the ban didn’t hurt LSU at all. In fact, it may have helped as these kids couldn’t visit other schools where who knows what could have happened.

May also be a blessing they don't have to come around the program while its in a down year and so much doom and gloom surrounds the program.
