I figured it was a case of someone focusing on a single statement and blowing it out of proportion.

its not like this staff was busy installing gameplans or teaching fundamentals

How much time does it take to call a guy and let him know how much a commitment would mean to your program? Hire me, I'll give him a call.

you would think someone would be talking to him though

This question was raised last year with a couple of LSU recruits/commits who mentioned that other programs were more in touch even after they committed.

Miles is consistant at one thing and that is failing at everything.
I'm sure he thought he had mentally called Rasco just like he thought about the timeout at Ole Miss.

If you're talking about a 2011 kid then it was definitely a violation. Calls aren't even allowed to them at this point.

Especially considering that is how LSU got PP. He said Miami just stopped calling once he committed which turned him off of them.

WTF are we gonna do with 4 RBs in one class? We signed three with Scott, KW, and Murphy, and we cant even distribute the ball to all 3. Why sign 4?

Well we did have 3 go down with injuries this year, but I think it has more to do with not giving up on a talent like Seastrunk. If he wants to commit we accept it. However I see blue being switched to LB.

How much can he be contacted? Rules? Regulations? Who knows what McCarthy was doing. They may have to lay off. Maybe he's hit his limit for contact with coaches.

Contact Rules for Juniors

Junior year from September 1
College coaches are allowed to send you information about their athletic program and about their school. this can include: media guides, schedule cards, personalized letters, photocopies of newspaper clippings and official university admissions and academic publications.
The college coach is now allowed to answer your emails and send emails to you as well.

Randle said something similar last year. Simply put, very few juniors are ever recruited hard by LSU coaches. The exception being guys like La'el Collins.
So much wrong with this statement. First, Randle was just as big of a recruit nationally and La'el will be. Also, these words never should have been uttered by Randle or any other high end recruit, especially if they are from the same freaking state that LSU happens to be in. I don't care if it is fourteen months away; Big time recruits should be hearing from LSU's staff during their junior years.

dude
JJs biggest complaint with LSU last year was that after he committed there was very little contact
that's why he was openly telling anybody and everybody around LC he was not going to LSU long before feb 09

Flack Jacket, darn shame this wasn't posted on the rant last year by the numerous posters from LC. All those people here saying he was waiting for his Mother to come in for signing. Sonny and Mike were unaware of this and they kept in touch with him.
How about my 2k offer if you score 140 on a WAIS 111-R? Should be easy for a guy with an IQ of 161.
