Qualifying at Kansas but not LSU

This question is in regards to Pooka Williams. His talent is obvious against lesser competitors. There were some questions concerning his grades coming out of high school. Would him being on the field now for Kansas mean that he would have actually qualified at LSU or are their standards lower than ours?

He was fully qualified, we missed out

Qualifying is the 1st step. Next step is a school taking a chance on giving you a scholarship. Kansas has/had nothing to lose

He would have been great at LSU.

Tae provens hasn't played a snap here, safe to say we should have taken the chance

He's a freshman man, chill.

He is the home run threat we could use as a complimenting back.

He was all Kansas anyway. They got on him early and he felt a huge sense of loyalty to them in the end.

Difference is the competition he’s up against.

Kansas is a good academic school. If he qualified there he definitely qualified for LSU.

We sign him, we would only have been able to sign Burrows or Tracy. Which one do u not want for Pooka?

Would have taken him over the RB from Alabama, Provens.

Kansas offered him a scholarship when it wasn’t a sure thing he would qualify academically. He committed to them early and said he wanted to honor his commitment since they had faith in him when many schools (LSU included) were telling him they wanted to wait to offer until his grades were in order.

And Pooka is at Kansas, not LSU.

Has Pooka played against a defense similar to Miami or Auburn?
I wish him well.

AT KANSAS! Garbage school in garbage conference.
Playing at Kansas does not equal playing time at an SEC running back position in the West division.

He’s the best player on the team and on the field both games put so far.
