Fair enough with the no chest comment, but 80% gives us good odds. You can at least have the champagne on ice, if you want to wait to uncork it.

That is true.

A lot of folks have had enough of recruiting because of what we have been talking about.

If people would take a commitment at face value and nothinfmg more when one decommits the sting wont mean aa much.

Im ecstatic a couple Miss boys are committed. Now, it becomes even more imperative to maintain contact and show the same desire to keep them that we had to grt rhem committed.

I don't care who it is or where they come from, it is not a done deal until the signed paperwork comes in. I pay way too much attention to this stuff throughout the year.

Also, these guys read this board. The negativity would scare anyone. Stop.

Link? This is the most overly used piece of bull shite there is on this board. Y’all give this way too much credit.
All of them?
Yeah right.
1/3 MAYBE and when a kid that does read this board comes on here he is given the good ole “way to pump yourself up” shite and basically run off by y’all bull shite smart arse responses instead of helping him. Oh yeah there’s the “Quad” handler type that y’all consider legit, but hey - NONE OF YALL EVER MET THIS GUY.
So you stop with this false arse message about recruits reading this board and being “scared off” by ANYTHING NEGATIVE or perceived negative by you bunch of judgemental pricks sitting on your high thrones.

A friend’s grandson was an excellent football player hrrr in Houston. His issue was his size to play RB. His dad played baseball for NSU and was a tremendous athlete. I know coach Nader through some common connections and sent him film and had discussions. Ultimately, he played Div 2 and got a partial scholarship. He completed his degree and is doing great. Coach Nader helped us with this process. I didn’t damn sure come on here because that is not how you get exposed if you’re talent level isn’t quite there.

Either a kid is committed or not. This board has ZERO influence over his decision. I know it wouldn’t my grandson for damn sure if he is good enough to play baseball for LSU one day.
The “issue” with kids and young adults today is they don’t know the meaning of honoring your word. Their word doesn’t mean yes. It means maybe yes.
If you know that, you’re not going to get overly excited for an early commit.

you actually believe recruits make their decision over some fricking morons on some random website?
If you do, you’re in for a long life of disappointment.

re: Please remember Rome....
Some folks never get. ONE RECRUITING SITUATION DOES NOT MEAN THE NEXT WILL END UP THE SAME! Rome situation very different besides the number three being involved. UGA sold their soul for Anderson, one of the two others was a borderline take and the last was a project. All three of these are coveted.

like our chances in Mississippi compared to Georgia right now. Yeah I know Willie Gay. Once again does not mean it will end the same. Let it play out.

re: Please remember Rome....
I think it can hurt LSU when the winds of negativity are blowing in LSUs direction. Articles, news papers, Twitter, and Instagram are what these recruits use to communicate these days.

Who would of thought that a kid would use that as their main form of communication, but they do. Coaches have to keep up with these social media networks or be left behind. This site can drive those networks in a negetive direction or in a positive direction. Saban is King and O is the shrimp boat captain. That is not good for LSU and its people like you who start such moronic headlines for our HC.

No matter your opinion of the man, a fan of LSU should never drive these things or give into it, jumping on board with it. That's so damn oxymoronic to be a fan of a school but then drive such headlines on social media. Yes these kids do see this stuff bc it doesn't stop here, it makes it's way around the internet world. That very well could tip the scale one way or another. It could easily make the recruits look at one coach one way and the other a completely different way. Perception is someone's reality. If you drive these perceived notions then it can really hurt LSU. They would in some cases at the very least have to fight it and LSU shouldn't have to do that. It's fricking dumb to do this.

Imagine if when LSU hired a HC no matter who he is would do this to him, it might tip the scales one way or another. It might not ever happen but LSU fans should never be the ones driving it. The opposing fans do it enough.

Remember the Maine.

Rome wasn't built in a day.

This is the end, my only friend, the end.
