Which group of 10 players would you rather land. Just including the 'big' dogs. Just doing it because me and a buddy are having an argument

Class 1 (3 5*s....7 4*s)
RB- Leonard Fournette *****
OL- Garrett Brumfield ****
DB- Tony Brown *****
DB- Ed Paris ****
DB- Laurence 'Hootie' Jones ****
WR- Trey Quinn ****
WR- D'haquille Williams *****
WR- Cameron Sims ****
DL- Gerald Willis III ****
LB- Kenny Young ****

Class 2 (6 5*s....4 4*s)
RB- Racean 'Roc' Thomas ****
OL- Cam Robinson *****
DB- Jabrill Peppers *****
DB- Adoree Jackson *****
WR- Malachi Dupre ****
WR- Speedy Noil *****
WR- Saeed Blacknall ****
DL- Lorenzo Carter *****
DL- Davon Godchaux ****
LB- Clifton Garrett *****

Class 2 is clearly stronger throughout but would you be willing to give up the monsters (LF, Tony and D'haquille)

Class 2 by far. You are giving up LF but getting CRob, Garrett, Lorenzo Carter, Jabrill, and Adoree' Jackson makes up for it. Imo.

I'd have to go class 2. Even though you can't take LF, you get a downright ridiculous defense, prototypical LSU WRs, and no slouch of a RB either in Roc.

Seriously, it's not even close. Give me Class #2 all day long. Now, if you add Cam Robinson and Malachi Dupre to Class #1 (in exchange for Quinn Kenny Young), it might be more of a toss-up.

Try this again without including 3 of our commits in one of your groupings. That can only make for bad answers by people picking against them.

I'd take 1. Get the best player in the country.
Brown and Paris =adoree and peppers
Get the best wr of the bunch plus Quinn who I really like.
Brumfield, hootie, Sims, GW, and young are pretty damn good also.

Thankfully we can take 25 and should get a very large share of the 20 guys listed

I would take class 1. The only big push for me would be Cam Robinson but look at the 04-09 class recruits. (Last 5 draft classes)

5 Star Olineman
Jeff Byers
Thomas Herring
Eugene Monroe - Panned Out
Reginald Youngblood
Alex Boone
Dan Doering
Andre Smith - Panned Out
Sam Young
Stephen Schilling
Josh Oglesby
Tray Allen
Ryan Miller
Kristofer O'Dowd
Mike Adams - Panned Out
Baker Steinkuhler
Matt Kalil - Panned Out
Michael Brewster
Tyron Smith - Panned Out
Matt Patchan
Stephen Good
Tyler Love
DJ Fluker - Panned Out
Mason Walters

That's 6 out of 23 that panned out. Then you look at guys like Lane Johnson (unranked) or Eric Fisher (2 star)

In Class 1 you have Leonard who's the biggest running back prospect since Adrian (likely the 3rd best RB of all time) and he fits an incredibly large need.

Leonard >>> Roc
Brumfield < Cam Robinson
Tony Brown, Laurence Jones, Ed Paris > Peppers, Adoree'
Trey Quinn, D'haquille(1 year), Sims < Malachi, Speedy, Blacknall
Gerald Willis << Lorenzo, Davon
Kenny Young = Clifton Garrett

IMHO I would rather the kids from the southern states (Tony, Trey, Hootie and Kenny), especially Louisiana kids, than kids that dominate lesser talent in the north/northeast/west (Peppers, Blacknall, Adoree', Clifton)
