LSU commitment Kevin Toliver, the nation's top-ranked cornerback, is in Louisiana ahead of the LSU prospect camp this weekend. Toliver squeezed in a workout Wednesday and was joined by Calvary Baptist quarterback Shea Patterson who picked up an LSU offer last Saturday. Toliver said he was impressed with the highly touted Arizona commitment.

He is really good. I know that is obvious but he's a stud. This area is developing some stud QB play lately with Harris, Patterson and Curry from ECA.

Haven't seen Curry, but have watched Harris & Patterson in person. Patterson was solid throwing & running. Harris can run also but the arm..my lord, the arm.

A friend coaches at PHS and says their QB this year will turn heads too.

The Parkway QB before Harris was amazing also. Went pro in baseball.

The kid is from Louisiana and they are shocked he might flip to LSU? OUTRAGEOUS! Where is the NCAA?

Toothless nowadays. I've heard crazy stories lately about recruits at some schools in this area getting $200,000 and a car after committing. As long as your people have good OPSEC, it's the wild wild west days in CF recruiting. Even if LSU just got this kid's brother a coaching gig, it's MINOR compared to the alleged goings on with some other big talent across the country.

Top ten player nationally and top player at his position.

24/7 doesn't have him listed THAT high but very high indeed. He certainly looks like a thoroughbred.

I love that he is committed to AZ but listed on 24/7 crystal ball as 93% LSU...

Not that it really matters but does he have height in his family, also is he really 6'2 or more like 6'? No one freak out it's just a question I really could care less if he's 5'5 as long as he can play. Just curious if anyone really knows?

Guess that's why this thread is about Scout rankings and not 24/7 rankings.

Toliver is supposed to be 6'2 but I've seen some articles list him as 6'1.5. In that pic with him and Patterson, Patterson looks just slightly smaller than him. I'd venture to guess Patterson is about 6'1 to 6'1 3/4

Like Harris was listed as 6'3 til about the All Star games if I remember. He's now listed at 6'2.5 on the recruiting services, and 6'2 on LSUsports

That thread was rich. They ignore all of the logical reasons as to why Shea would choose LSU and stick to the brother excuse to feel better about themselves. The butthurt is real in Tucson.
