Fear not Tiger fans... remember, we have a coach who is probably the best recruiter in the country, IMO. He will pull out all the stops and this thing will be OVER soon enough.

miles is a very good recruiter, though he wouldn't be my first choice to go one on one with a kid in the living room. still waiting to hear a bunch of smoke from the bammers about rr's visit this wknd.

I think that Randle to Oklahoma still shouldn't be ignored. The fact that Sam Bradford coming back has got to be appealing to him.

It seems like most everyone is stuck on it being a duel b/w bama and us.

No disrespect to Rueban Randle but I wish the guy would commit already. To LSU that is.

Well the weekend is over. Randle visited Bama this weekend. I will try and figure out what he thought about the visit and update the first post. He is set to visit LSU next weekend so that's the big one to look forward to.

Lafell is coming back so it will be interesting to see if that affects his decision. Personally I don't think it does. Randle pointed out he was impressed during Miles' in-home visit and how many three wide sets we have (over half of the playbook) so I think it works well for Randle. He can come in and play with Toliver and Lafell. He'll get plenty of touches and not have to be "the guy." Who knows if I'm right but that's just my opinion.

in comparison, how many three wide sets does bama have?

Good question. Maybe a Gump knows the answer. And I mean really knows........

To be specific. Miles went through the playbook with Randle and he had no idea that over half of our plays were designed for 3-wide. I just don't think we really opened/could open up our playbook last year.

This is far from anything official, but a girl I work with is from Bastrop and her sister still lives over there and she says the word around town is he is LSU. FWIW

No word on the Bama visit yet except quotes by Bama players but that's the last possible kind of source you should be taking seriously. Of course they're gonna give positive feedback but in the end they usually don't know anything.

No update by any site yet about his visit. No matter what, I'm sure it went well and I'm sure he had a good time. Bama is a nice place with good facilities and Saban is a great recruiter.

We also have amazing facilities and one of the best recruiters (just as good as Saban) and we'll be fine. He's coming in for a visit next weekend and no matter what you hear about the Bama visit, we get to make that last impression 10 days before signing day. I maintain that we're the ones the other schools will have to beat and we'll be in good shape.

Only if the question is: "How can you possibly try and justify walking around with a ghey-arse pom pom in your back pocket, or displayed in the back window of your Ford Taurus (in February)"?

eta: Sorry, Iowa, I know you're trying to keep this thread condensed and informative. I'll try to keep in check before posting bama-hate in this thread again...

I appreciate it momma. Try to keep it reigned in if possible. You too Cadello. There's no reason for that here. The Gumps have been pretty well restrained in this thread so far and I wanna keep us Tigers behaving well too.

I asked if a Gump would know for the same reason that I know about our playbook. It was mentioned in a Scout article from someone close to the Randle family. So perhaps in time, a Gump has heard something about the Bama playbook. I would be willing to bet there are fewer 3 wide sets.
