Didn't Austin's dad get in trouble regarding title nine? I thought that was one of the main issues.

It is my understanding Verge was somewhat involved in the Title 9 issue, but not severely sanctioned. Your post mentioned Wiggins also.

Neto appears to be a great prospect who has not indicated a favorite yet. He may have some family members residing in Baton Rouge which could play a factor in his recruitment.

He was suspended without pay for 2 weeks and has to attend various classes. I think we handled it near perfectly. He also has different Title. Optics, man, optics. Now if he would have been person to. Actually drop the ball and lie under oath, I would have totally different opinion. Bottom line there were 2 gentlemen who were guilty and appropriate actions taken , Do NOT ask for names. We are better than that. The 2 are actually good humans, but in trying to keep LSU.name clean , went about it in wrong way. They are each joyfully employed elsewhere.

Verge is good people. I knew the family when living in New Iberia. Verge's father was a principal at NIFH while two of my sons were students there. He was a great leader and disciplinarian.

I n my opinion Verge is an example of a great American. Worked his arse of to get position he has, job wasn’t just given to him. I’ve met his boys, both cut out of same cloth, apparently Verge excels at Parenting also .
