Any competent AD wouldn't have hired Ogeron in the first place. In fact, many competent AD's had ample opportunity to hire Ed Ogeron over the last decade, yet they all didn't even consider him to be a candidate.

The big takeaway: LSU doesn't have a competent AD.

Firing Ed Ogeron is an exercise in futility if you're just going to allow Alleva to make the next hire. This is not the bottom. Allowing Alleva to further exacerbate his numerous frick up's is.

I was not impressed with Joiner. Some of you are just pulling out names of kids who wanted to come as if they were really that good. We got 2 good RBs in this class who will play before Joiner ever would have. He would have been a waste of a scholarship.
