I'm interested to see how he does without that O-line
This is the biggest question I have. Losing 4 experienced seniors and most of their size is going to make those yards come harder this year. That line made a lot of holes last year, witness that even Nick's backups ripped off some big runs when spelling him. We will get to judge a lot more about his individual talent this year. I still think last year's team could have plowed through everyone in 2A, with the possible exception of Curtis, if we had just ground them down with the power running game.

The district will be a far more equal playing ground (with the exception Redemptorist falling further), so there should be plenty of opportunities to see what he can do.
I still think U High has enough talent to win the district and make a good run in the playoffs, but it won't be as easy as last year.

247 has him at 6'0" 215. That's huge and he's probably 14 or 15
He's actually 16 yrs old. He turned 16 March. He should be a rising junior.

Why does the rant always say "have to see him without his line" or things along these lines about beast RBs that are freshman and sophomores?
Every star rb didn't just skip straight to their sr year. If a guy is starting as an 8th or 9th grader on varsity then the majority of the line will always be upperclassman unless it's a frickin jv team

that may be because his backup is pretty damn good.

I only say it because he's not incredibly fast, not incredibly powerful, etc. He's a solid runner that has had a lot of help.
He's still super young, so I'm curious how he'll continue to grow and develop as next year will be the most difficult year for him to do well, etc.
