'New Orleans Megatron'

quote:

“What separates him is that he doesn’t like the glitz and the glamour,” Karr head coach Brice Brown told SEC Country. “A lot of them (great Karr wide receivers) were real prima donnas; they liked the stardom that came with being Edna Karr football players. Racey shied away from it. He didn’t want to wear No. 2, which is a special number for players at our school. We forced it upon him, and he just embraced it.”

Can't help but like reading that quote.

Solid article, this kid has the right mindset and approach to becoming one of our top recievers and possibly getting some significant playing time this year.

McMath just wants to come in here and work, with that approach everything else will take care of itself. This kid is going to be a very good player here, and very likely continuing the line of awesome receivers we have put in the NFL.

Similar to Jarvis Landry. ODB got the spotlight while Landry just did his job...and he did it spectacularly.

Right, and Landry has now proven how good he is for multiple years in the NFL.

This could be our new Landry if he wants it.

62 215lbs 4.4 40. What a pickup for O and Canada. Not sure how he's a 3* but that doesn't really matter. Although I would've liked to see a higher rating.

Great read and looks like he is definitely underrated. Props for looking at talent first and stars last to our coaching staff! Kid has a bright future ahead of him and he appears to be humble, hardworking and willing to share the spotlight. Reminds me of Jarvis Landry's work ethic.

I watched his film the other day and found myself smiling a lot. Tough player who does not go down unless he is tackled. Long strides and can flat out run. I remember looking at Landry's film and feeling the same way. Sometimes you can just tell. How this young man has flown under the radar of the "Star Rating Services" defies logic. Reading the article which provides a glimpse into his personality only makes me happier that he'll be playing for the Tigers. Racey will be a stud...book it.
