Evangel Christian is showing they're not Neville or Monroe. Those schools have been the problem for LSU.

Toshiro. SHREVEPORT has had its moments, but not like Monroe.

It's the city of Monroe that needs to be reclaimed. Until then, it should be called the city of Monroe, Alabama.

Should probably start the fence with Baton Rouge and New Orleans and work upwards.

True, but every year Alabama get commits from recruits out of Monroe. They created a true pipeline there.

On the 2016 roster there were 4 from N LA, 4 from S LA on Bama's roster. In the 2017 recruiting class there was 1 from N LA (Monore) and 3 from S LA (2 from Baton Rouge).

That's not the issue however. Of those 11 total mentioned above there are 2 5-stars and 8 4-stars. To me that's the issue.

I would NOT say a pipeline exists in Monroe or Baton Rouge simply because LSU gets 4 & 5 star recruits from the same area. So Bama doesn't get the pick of the litter. But they get a share. Not quite a pipeline, but sharing the cream of the crop from both of those areas is bad. Baton Rouge is the home of the school and Monroe used to be a go-to area.

All coach O had to do is win, they will come. I think for LSU, he's just what the doctor ordered.

Yet NOLA folks have the same accent as New York City folks and I guess you have never been north of Richmond, Virginia to actually see what a real yankee is?

Buggs is from Ruston High but he spent a year getting his grades together in Mississippi. He enrolled in the 2nd semester. Bottom line you make a good point in your post. That fence needs to start at the Gulf of Mexico and not stop until the Arkansas line.
